Neverstill Wines, a Hudson-based winery with a focus on New York State wines and sustainability, is seeking a Part-Time Tasting Room Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about wine, enjoys engaging with guests, and thrives in a hospitality-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Guide guests through wine tastings, sharing knowledge about our wines, winemaking process, and food pairings
- Create a welcoming and educational tasting room experience
- Promote and sell wines, merchandise, and wine club memberships
- Assist with sales transactions, restocking, and inventory management
- Support private events, wine dinners, and offsite pop-ups as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Passion for wine (formal wine education/certifications like WSET or CMS a plus)
- Hospitality or customer service experience (winery, restaurant, or retail preferred)
- Strong sales skills and ability to promote wine club memberships
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
- Must be 21+ years old
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
- TIPS or Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
