Full-Time, Seasonal Role from August to December
Expected Hours: 40-48 Hours/week (M-F: 8-5, Sat. Varies)
Rate of Pay: $17 - $19/hour, depending on experience

JOB OVERVIEW
The Packing Facility Supervisor will help management with overseeing certain parts of the operation in preparing harvest crops for sale. This includes helping to oversee staff, learning quality standardsd, coordinating workflow, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment. Training will be provided for all the responsiblities we are looking to fill that are listed below.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1 year of agriculture experience (not required but helpful)
- Management experience (not required but helpful)
- Experience in maintaining adequate inventory levels
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations
- Communication Skills
- Speaking Spanish would e very helpful since most of our packing facility staff are Hispanic
- Learning & Supervising the packing process, including sorting, grading and packaging fresh produce, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet established standards
- Help ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations
- Monitor packing supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels
- Maintain clear and effective communication with all levels of staff, including Managers
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and procedures
- Willing to learn the different varieties of apples and how each variety's specs are different for each customer
- Help keep track of finished product inventory and help with inputting inventory levels daily
