Water Wars!

Join us on July 18th, 2026, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm for a FREE event: Water Wars! Spend the morning with local firefighters and learn to operate a real fire hose! Can you fill the big barrel with water the fastest? Younger children will have the opportunity to do the activity with the assistance of their caregiver. Get ready to work with our brave firefighters to take on this challenge and see who will “rain” supreme during Water Wars! All activities are FREE and will be outdoors (rain or shine). In the event of thunder and lightning, an alternative inside program will be presented. Free admission to the Museum will also be offered to all who attend this special event. Reservations are not required for this event. The FASNY (The Firefighters Association of the State of New York) Museum of Firefighting is located at 117 Harry Howard Avenue, Hudson, NY, 12534, and is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 am until 4:30 pm.
