The Hudson Eye
Stimulates and Expands Creativity & Grows Tourism with a Multi-Venue Series
Active in Hudson since 2006, Jonah Bokaer Arts Foundations presents its annual Labor Day Performance and Visual Arts Series, The Hudson Eye, arranged in partnership with as many as 27 local venues. The Hudson Eye is an artist-driven 10-day public program and urban showcase, timed through Labor Day weekend in historic downtown Hudson, NY. The festival focuses on dance, music, visual art, performance, film, dining out, nightlife, and Free daily conversation panels called the "Hot Topics". The Hudson Eye is supported by an anonymous $50,000 local Hudson Matching Grant Challenge to stimulate local giving. The Hudson Eye is supported by the City of Hudson, Board of Tourism "Project Hudson", Common Council, Mayor Kamal Johnson, CEDC, and the New York State Council on the Arts. The Hudson Eye is powered by Jonah Bokaer Arts Foundation and its generous Board of Directors.
