“Core strength” goes deeper than abdominal workouts. The deep core plays a role in balance, posture, breathing, pelvic floor function, spinal support, and safe and steady movement.
This educational and experiential workshop will help you understand the body’s deep stabilization system through the lense of yoga therapy. Using gentle movement, breathwork, posture awareness, and functional exercises, participants will learn how to reconnect with the deeper muscles that support long-term strength and resilience, without strain.
This workshop is ideal for adults who want to improve posture, balance, core support, and functional strength—especially those experiencing back discomfort, osteoporosis, pelvic floor concerns, balance challenges, chronic tension, or age-related changes in stability and mobility.
