A career retrospective on the work of local poet, artist, and bookmaker Lucy Swope. Lucy Swope has been an artist all her life and this retrospective will feature her work from 1960 to the present. On exhibit will be relief sculptures, pen and ink drawings, etchings, as well as woodcuts and the reduction prints and storyboards of linoleum cuts done for her many books. Lucy’s woodcut prints and her books will be for sale during the exhibition with a portion of the proceeds to be donated to the Hudson Area Library. This event is free and open to the public. It will take place in the community room, which is wheelchair accessible. There will be refreshments after the book readings and a chance to speak with the artist
