Monologue Writing with Lou Craft

In this lively workshop, we’ll explore a delectable sampling of dramatic monologues—from David Mamet, David Ives, Sarah Ruhl, Henrik Ibsen, and Lillian Hellman—before creating and performing our own. From the humorous to the lugubrious, playful to poignant, participants will develop original characters, then share their work in a full-class reading with guided critique.
