The Hudson Area Library proudly presents the first event in a new monthly cultural family program, Music and Stories from the Americas; on Tuesday, December 6 at 6pm. Families will learn about the specific cultures of people living in the Americas through children’s stories, history, food, and music. This program of celebration and community gathering will be in English and Spanish. Come to learn about culture, pick up a word or two in a language you may or may not be familiar with and enjoy delicious food in a friendly, festive setting. Juan Sanchez, musician and member of Arm-of-the-Sea Theater Company, will be using children’s literature, songs and the history of specific regions in Central and South America to introduce children and their families to the rich culture that exists in our two continents. This program will be held in the Community Room on the first floor of the library, which is wheelchair accessible. Admission is free and open to the public.
