Then join us on a guided woods walk in Siuslaw Model Forest focusing on the importance of forest carbon storage and its role in forest ecology and climate change mitigation. Learn first-hand about improved forest management practices and how these practices can promote carbon storage and sequestration in your forest. Forest owners can learn ecologically responsible ways to manage and improve the health of their forested land and how to qualify for financial incentives to do so.
