Hudson Area Library and the Claverack Free Library present a very special event at Churchtown Dairy. Photographer Barbara Bosworth will discuss her newest book, The Heavens, followed by a star-watching party on the grounds of Churchtown Dairy led by the Amateur Telescope Makers of Boston. Churchtown Dairy has generously made its stellar landscape and facilities available for this event. The Heavens contains images of the moon, sun and sky made over several years with an 8×10 camera, the star images are hour-long exposures with the camera mounted on a clock drive. The sun and moon images are made with a telescope attached to her camera. The author will be available to sign copies. This event is free and open to the public, rain or shine.
