Hudson Area Library is proud to present an author reading and book signing: The Legacy of Anne Frank by Gillian Walnes Perry. In Legacy, Walnes Perry, co-founder of the Anne Frank Trust UK, explores the influence Anne Frank’s life and diary has had on young people all over the world. It contains the stories of a diverse variety of readers, including Nelson Mandela and Audrey Hepburn, brought together by the extraordinarily articulate and wise young victim of the Holocaust. This reading is an excellent respite and refocus during the hectic holiday season and the book is certainly a great gift idea. Refreshments follow the reading. The book will be for sale with a portion of the proceeds going to the library thanks to Spotty Dog Books & Ale. The author will be available to sign copies.. It will take place in the community room, which is wheelchair accessible. For more information email programs@hudsonarealibrary.org, call 518-828-1792 x101, or visit the main desk in the library.
