Event Description:
Hudson Area Library is Creative Writing with Maureen McNeil on Thursdays 2:30 - 3:30pm, from October 1 until November 5. This fall, participants will respond through writing to current events and topics central in their lives. This class will take place virtually. Registration is limited to 12 participants, and is on a first come/first serve basis. To register, call 518.828.1792 x101, or email programs@hudsonarealibrary.org. This program is funded, in part, with support from the Friends of the Hudson Area Library. Maureen McNeil, author, artist, educator, and social activist, has created writing programs for NYC public school students, US prisoners, seniors, veterans, and families of 9/11 victims. She believes that everyone’s story is needed to help solve the problems of the world. Maureen is also the author of Dear Red: The Lost Diary of Marilyn Monroe and Red Hook Stories.
