DESCRIPTION:This all ages workshop will center on uses of text and visual poetics in art. We will look at some examples from artists past and present and then use a variety of materials and methods to create our own pieces of visual poetry. All are welcome to experiment and collaborate in a playful and fun setting. Refreshments provided. Those who participate are welcome to take home their art pieces or have them included in an installation for Spark of Hudson's Hearth Day event at the waterfront on April 22! Space is limited.
