SUMMARY:Ghostly Gallop 5k Race and Kids Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for the 19th annual Ghostly Gallop 5k Road Race with and one-mile Kids Fun Run. The race will be held Sunday\, October 20 at Hudson City School District's Jr./Sr. High School. Proceeds from the event benefit the Hudson Area Library. Each participant in the Kids One Mile Fun Run will receive a free book. The top three male and female finishers in the 5k Race will receive $100\, $75 and $50\, respectively. "The Ghostly Gallop is a fun community get-together\, with events for adults and children\," said Gary Sheffer\, race director. "We have a terrific course that takes you through the streets of Hudson\, prizes for the best Halloween costumes\, and prize money for the top finishers. We invite runners and walkers from the area to come out to have fun and to support the Hudson Area Library." We thank lead 2019 sponsor Rosani Brothers Paving\, and also Furniture Plus and the Hudson Childrens Book Festival. The race is looking for additional sponsors and volunteers.
