DESCRIPTION:The Hudson Area Library will host The Michael Benedict Jazz Vibes Quartet for a free concert at the library on Saturday\, April 2nd from 12pm-1pm. Michael Benedict (vibraphone)\, Jon LeRoy (keyboard)\, Mike Richmond (bass) and Andy Hearn (drums) will perform straight-ahead jazz as well as Latin-influenced jazz\, including the Bossa Nova and Samba. This concert is offered in conjunction with Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM)\, which is a music festival held every April in the United States\, in honor of jazz as an early American art form.
