DESCRIPTION:Join us for our FREE Harmonies on the Hudson Concert Series! In July\, we welcome James Mongan for a solo acoustic set. This free outdoor concert is held on the lawn at Clermont State Historic Site--feel free to bring a blanket\, lawn chairs\, and a picnic! Singer/songwriter James Mongan\, usually accompanied by his music project\, Star Children\, performs an original selection of solo acoustic music. James has been songwriting and performing for various solo and collaborative projects for decades in NYC and since moving to Woodstock\, NY has crafted and refined a collection of energetic pop and smart rock-n-roll songs that will invigorate and inspire. Both James and Star Children are slowly making their way performing live throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond and James is in the process of a recording new EP of all new tunes featuring Star Children. James describes Star Children and his solo work as "Modern pop for vintage tastes\, Catskill style".
