DESCRIPTION:AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT FROM UPSTAGE PRODUCTIONS\, INC.\n\n \n\nCome join Upstage Productions in a world under the sea by auditioning for Disney's "The Little Mermaid"\, a musical adventure enjoyed by young and old alike.\n\nDisney's "The Little Mermaid"\, is a musical based on Disney's classic animated film and the classic Hans Christian Andersen's story. The tale revolves around Ariel\, a young mermaid who dreams of exploring the human world and falling in love. With the help of her friends\, including the charming and hilarious Flounder and the wise-cracking seagull\, Scuttle\, Ariel embarks on a journey to make her dreams come true. Can she win the prince\, regain her voice\, and defeat the villainous sea witch Ursula? \n\n\n\nAUDITION/CALLBACK INFORMATION:\n\n         Who: Anyone ages 8 to 60+!\n\n        When: Wednesday\, July 9 and Thursday\, July 10 at 6:30 PM with call backs on Sunday\, July 12 at 1 PM\n\n         Where: The Reformed Dutch Church of Claverack\, NY\, 88 Route 9H\, Claverack\, NY\n\n         What to prepare: 16 to 32 bars (about 30 seconds) of a song of your choosing in the style of the musical. Please bring an accompaniment/karaoke track on a Bluetooth compatible device\; a Bluetooth speaker will be provided. Dance auditions will be held for all who are able\, so please wear clothes and shoes you can move in. Sides from the show will be provided.
