February is Library Lovers’ Month and the Hudson Area Library is holding a volunteer fair on February 25 from 4 – 6pm for all library lovers! The Hudson Area Library relies on our talented and committed volunteers to ensure we can continue to provide the services and programs that the community benefits from, and to raise much needed funds. If anyone can spare a few hours per year, per month or per week the library has a role for them. Volunteering is a great way to meet other people, contribute to the community, and to give input on the services and programs offered. This will also be an opportunity to learn about the library’s resources, programs and events planned for 2017 and how you can get involved. Attendees can learn about volunteering for fundraising events, the library’s History Room, various programs and classes, and working at the circulation desk. Find out more about volunteering opportunities available, and mingle with members of the Board and staff. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public. It will take place in the community room and the main floor of the library, which are both wheelchair accessible.
